Shoprite Group invites eligible South African students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2025.
closing date is 30 April 2025.
The Shoprite Group is offering a range of bursaries, providing a stepping stone into the company, with the guarantee of a career upon successful completion of the course. Below are the available bursary options:
1. Accounting (CA Stream – SAICA) Bursary
- Qualifications: BCom Accounting / BAcc (CA stream)
- Requirements:
- 65%+ Aggregate
- 2nd, 3rd, and 4th academic year / PGDA / CTA
- SA citizen
- 27 years old and younger
2. Food Science Bursary
- Qualifications: Food Technology (Food Tech) or Food Science degree
- Requirements:
- 60%+ Aggregate
- 2nd, 3rd, or 4th academic year
- SA citizen
- 27 years old and younger
3. Supply Chain & Logistics Bursary
- Qualifications:
- BCom in Logistics/Supply Chain Management
- BSc in Operational Research
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management
- Requirements:
- 60%+ Aggregate
- 2nd, 3rd, or 4th academic year
- SA citizen
- 27 years old and younger
4. Retail Business Management Bursary
- Qualifications: Diploma in Retail Business Management
- Requirements:
- 65%+ Aggregate
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (Advanced Diploma) academic year
- SA citizen
- 27 years old and younger
5. Biological and Agricultural Sciences Bursary
- Qualifications: BSc in Microbiology, Plant Pathology, Botany, Zoology, Genetics and Biotechnology, and any Agricultural degree
- Requirements:
- 60%+ Aggregate
- 2nd, 3rd, or 4th academic year
- SA citizen
- 27 years old and younger
General Requirements:
- South African citizen.
- Age: 27 years old or younger.
