Key Performance Areas:
- Operate University vehicles and buses.
- Transporting student and staff.
- Maintain schedule and orders.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Ensure that vehicles and buses are safety secured and stored.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Code 10 (C1) Driver’s license
- PrDP
- Code 14 (EC) will be an added advantage
- Five (5) years’ experience in driving commercial transport environment.
Recommendations:
- Clean driving record.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with the local area or GPS navigation skills.
- Professionalism and punctuality.
Competencies:
- Driver’s license with PrDP
- Computer Skills
- Effective verbal writing, listening and communication skills.
- Vehicle safety and driver training awareness
- Changing of wheels
- Mechanical operation of vehicles
- Defensive driving techniques

Salary Scale: R164 537.00 to 223485.00 (P14) basic salary per annum.
