Main purpose of the job: Vaccinate patients with Covid19 vaccines.

thereto. Our Organisation maintains a Mandatory COVID-19 requirement and as such only COVID-19
Vaccinated incumbents will be considered for positions
Key performance areas
• Screening and consenting of patients.
• Able to use the EVDS, access and knowledge.
• Maintain hard copy of study documents.
• Mixing of vaccines.
• Pre and post vaccination patient counselling.
• Administer patients with the vaccine.
• Ability to identify and treat an adverse reaction.
• Administer hydrocortisone, adrenaline, set up and IV line if needed.
• Follow all study protocols as per SOPs.
• Provide general healthcare information the public may ask (blood pressure, diabetes) referral to
clinics where needed.
Required minimum education and training
Bachelor of Clinical Medical Practice or equivalent
Professional body registration
Registered with HPCSA
Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities
– Must have experience with vaccinating participants.
– Excellent clinical skills.
– Good written and spoken communication skills.
– Patient counselling skills.
– Good interpersonal skills.
– Good teamwork within a multi-disciplinary team.
– Attention to details.
– Motivated, Organised, Friendly and Professional.
– Comprehensive knowledge of the Covid19 disease, management of symptoms, vaccines efficacy and
use of vaccines.
Required minimum work experience
1-2 years research experience.
