Ekapa Mining is offering an apprenticeship for individuals looking to develop skills in auto electrician, boilermaker, mechanic, diesel mechanic, earth moving mechanic, electrical, fitter & turner, and rigger ropesman. Requirements include an N2 certificate and the ability to work with your hands. APPRENTICESHIP (EXTERNAL) – NG
Ekapa is situated in Kimberley in the Northern Cape province of South Africa, near the Free State border. Ekapa Mining is the 100% owner of Ekapa Resources and Ekapa Minerals. Ekapa Resources is the owner of the underground mining rights and Ekapa Minerals is the owner of the surface mining rights. It is operated as one entity and comprises five units, namely Joint Shaft, Wesselton, Combined Treatment Plant (CTP), Surface Mining and Services and Support.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo the following prior to final selection:
- Technical aptitude evaluation
Training will be over a three-year period, which will also entail theory training at an accredited Mining Qualifications Training Centre as determined by Ekapa.
