MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 10.
Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in a general worker or related field. Valid Driver’s Licence (Recommendation).
DUTIES
Control tools and equipment in workshop. Issue and draw-in tools from learners. Monitor conditions of tools and equipment and report on defects, keep tool register up to date. Monitor training equipment in the workshop, issue consumables to learners. Control flammable stock in workshop.
Assist the Lecturer with his task. Set-out workstations with tools and equipment. Monitor that learners do not misuse tools and equipment. Advise lecturer to requisition consumables.
Assist with diverse support functions related to training. Ensure that workstations are tidy, mop/sweep working areas as required, lubricated/maintain machines and equipment. Arrange photocopies for lecturer as required.
