South African National Parks invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of General Worker to be based at Skukuza Warehouse, Kruger National Park.

Position: General Worker

Location: Kruger National Park

Paterson Grade: A1

SANParks requires the services of a General Worker at the Skukuza Warehouse. This position will be based in Skukuza in the Kruger National Park and will report directly to the Senior Receiving Officer.

Requirements:
•Grade 12
•Minimum of one year working in a warehouse/storeroom environment
•Computer literacy (Word/Excel)
•Forklift driver certificate will be an added advantage
•Physical good health
•Better understanding of Customer-Supplier Relationship Management
•Be able to write a clear statement (sequence of events)
•Basic knowledge of OHS (Occupational Health and Safety)

Responsibilities:
•Loading and offloading of goods.
•Compiling of Route forms for all dispatched/returned goods.
•Picking items from the racks according to invoices due for shipping to various camps.
•Responsible for collecting all received items from in-bound logistics area (Receiving) to the designated area.
•Ensure that the workplace is always clean and tidy.
•Carry out any official duties as requested to do so by authorities.

•The successful candidates will be required to provide for their own accommodation outside the park.
•Applicants in possession of foreign qualifications to submit evaluated results by the South African Qualification Authority.
