Civil Engineering Intern (Richards Bay)
Description
Assist with civil engineering projects by:
· Supporting the Civil Engineering Section in planning, coordination, and implementation of CAPEX projects.
· Assisting in monitoring project progress and reporting on timelines and deliverables.
· Participating in site inspections and project meetings.
· Assisting in the preparation of basic technical documentation, reports, and drawings.
· Supporting the review of contractor work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Support maintenance activities by:
· Assisting in monitoring maintenance contractors’ performance and work quality.
· Participating in inspections of infrastructure to identify maintenance needs.
· Assisting in tracking and reporting maintenance activities.
· Supporting the implementation of preventative and corrective maintenance plans.
Provide general support by:
· Assisting with data collection, capturing, and record keeping.
· Supporting the preparation of project documentation and filing.
· Assisting with procurement-related documentation where required.
· Contributing to report writing and presentation preparation.
Ensure compliance by:
· Adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
· Following safety, health, and environmental (SHE) requirements.
· Supporting compliance with relevant engineering standards and legislation.
Requirements
Grade 12
Diploma (In Progress) Or Degree (In Progress) in Civil Engineering
(Minimum S4 completed at a University of Technology) or Mandatory (Minimum 3rd year completed at a University)
Letter from the University confirming the need for work place integrated learning

Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and processing of development applications (e.g. rezoning, consent use, SDPs)
- Support land acquisition processes and due diligence assessments
- Assist in reviewing building plans and compliance with planning frameworks
- Conduct research and contribute to planning reports and policy documents
- Participate in stakeholder engagements (e.g. municipalities and internal units)
- Support implementation of land development strategies and projects
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Town and Regional Planning or Urban Planning
- Basic understanding of planning legislation (e.g. SPLUMA)

Legal Services Intern (Richards Bay)
Description
The successful candidate will be provided with relevant workplace skills and experience in order to prepare the learner for the job market, the development and training areas will include but not limited to the below.
●Legal Research & Drafting: Conduct research on legislation, case law, and policies, and draft documents such as legal memos, briefs, affidavits, and correspondence. ●Case Management & Administration: Organize files, manage documents, handle correspondence, and maintain electronic case files. ●Support Services: Provide administrative assistance, such as vetting service level agreements (SLAs), preparing reports, and managing stakeholder communications. ●Observation & Assistance: Attend legal proceedings, hearings, and client meetings to observe and assist lawyers. ●Specialized Support: Depending on the organization, assist with ProBono initiatives, corporate legal services, or labour law matters.

●Grade 12 ● Bachelor of Law ●Unemployed, must be admitted as an attorney, no relevant workplace experience needed. Must be between ages of 20 and 35. Must not have done any internship before. ●Duration 24 months.
