Role summary
The Receptionist is responsible for answering phones, receiving and directing visitors, booking consulting rooms,
assist with admissions and assist with ad-hoc administrative functions as required.


Key work output and accountabilities
Operational Excellence

Co-ordination of diaries for various professionals.

Room bookings and co-ordination.

Assist with taking of payments.

Accurate liaison with nursing department regarding patient matters.

Ensure seamless patient flow to practitioners.

Answer telephone calls.

Assist with general administration duties.

Direct the public to correct areas in the clinic.

Provide information regarding programmes and services at the clinic.

Deal with admissions, walk-in queries and pre-authorisations.

Must be willing to work evening shifts, weekend shifts and public holiday shifts.
