Job Description
RCL FOODS is seeking a skilled and experienced Receptionist to join our Commercial team in Rustenburg to provide admin support to the cash office as well as bridge the gap between visitors and staff, help create a welcoming and efficient workplace and support internal teams ensuring all security measures and controls are adhered to.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12/Matric

2 years’ relevant experience as a Receptionist, Telphone Operator or similar function.

Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Experience working on Microsoft Office (word, excel)

Duties & Responsibilities
Reception

Be at your desk on time to start receiving calls. Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

Open boardroom to be clean (enough milk, water in fridge) to be ready for meetings. Call cleaning lady to clean boardroom before and after meetings

Book all meetings in your diary and on the whiteboard for the day. Open e-mails. Meetings via e-mail – book and print – file after meetings in important meeting file.

Lock doors of Boardroom, switch off aircon and lights before you go home.

Switchboard and Telephone

Telephone – answer, be friendly, listen, help full, customer focus -write down messages in message book in detail and inform employees in time – you can e-mail messages if employee or managers not available.

Handle pressure with difficult customers – be patient and listen and make sure problem is solved.

Attend to complaints from customers and transfer calls to the right person.

Post

Organize once a week or every second week to take out post at Post Office.

Receive packages by calling relevant department personnel or if someone is not here to sign for their package then sign for package, make copy and write in Package received book, person has to sign when received package. File copy in Packages received file.
