Purpose of the Position:
As the Administration Officer Transport at NWK, your primary responsibility is to uphold the accuracy and timeliness of crucial financial processes,
particularly in the realms of log statement processing, sales invoicing, and credit note management. Reporting directly to the Financial Manager Grain,
your role is pivotal in contributing to the efficiency of NWK’s financial operations and reinforcing internal control mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Execution, Sales, and Billing:
- Logistics Expertise: Manage the intricate process of logs statement processing, ensuring accurate integration into our system.
- Financial Accuracy: Oversee sales invoicing with a focus on precision and adherence to billing standards.
- System Integrity: Navigate load losses, initiate credit notes, and maintain the integrity of financial systems.
- Manage Debtors Accounts and Limits:
- Financial Oversight: Monitor payments, reconciling accounts to uphold financial accuracy.
- Client Relations: Address customer queries with finesse, strategically issuing credit notes for customer satisfaction.
- Billing Proficiency: Manage payment terms with precision, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Financial Administration:
- Budget Contribution: Provide real-time insights for dynamic budget formulation, contributing to financial planning.
- Reporting: Reconcile the ledger, verify billing rates, and handle fare corrections with meticulous attention to detail.
- Logistic Administration:
- Commission Management: Lead commission calculations and precise allocation based on log statement intricacies.
- Document Control: Efficiently manage documentations, utilizing advanced scanning and tracking methodologies for accuracy.
- Ad Hoc Tasks:
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work collaboratively on log statement complexities with cross-functional teams for effective solutions.
Tariff Disparity Resolution: Address tariff disparities in consultation with the Operations Manager, ensuring fair and accurate billing.
Efficient Query Resolution: Resolve financial and technical queries promptly, showcasing your problem-solving prowess.
Cargo Loss Management: Manage cargo losses, securing approvals and issuing credit notes when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 qualification.
Valid driver’s license.
3 years of administrative experience within financial environments.
Skills Required:
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in working with systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical and numerical skills for accurate data processing.
Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal competence..
Detail Orientation: Impeccable attention to detail in navigating financial processes.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to work systematically with adept prioritization skills

Purpose of the position:
The candidate will oversee the completion of clerical and administrative tasks at the retail outlet.
The responsibility of the position will include the following:
Inventory control, which includes orders, receipts, shipments, transfers, price marking and inventory
counting;
Customer service, which may include compiling quotes, special orders, handling product enquiries, etc.
Administrative tasks that are normally required to operate a successful retail business
Minimum requirements:
The suitable candidate must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate
The candidate must have at least two to three (2-3) years’ relevant experience in a retail environment
The candidate must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.

Key responsibilities:
Accounting and financial management:
Prepare, monitor and manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
Develop, implement and maintain robust financial controls, policies and procedures.
Compile, analyse and interpret financial reports and statements.
Lead audit preparation processes and liaise with external auditors.
Track and optimise revenue streams in collaboration with the executive team.
Leadership development:
Gain exposure to broader business operations and organisational processes.
Collaborate with senior leadership on operational and financial strategies.
Participate in structured training and development programmes aimed at transitioning into a financial or operational management role.
Compliance and reporting:

Qualifications and experience:
BCom honours in accounting or a related field.
Recently qualified chartered accountant (CA), or awaiting APC results / near completion of the CA designation.
Two to three years’ experience in financial services or a related environment (advantageous).
Proficiency in Afrikaans and English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant financial software.
