HTS Program Officer x 1(Johannesburg Metro)

Humana People to People in South Africa seeks to recruit 1 Program Officer. The successful applicant will be based in Johannesburg Health Metro District, Gauteng Province.

Job Purpose

To empower individuals and communities to lead their own liberation against such epidemic hence the ethos that: – “Only the People can liberate themselves from HIV and AIDS the epidemic.” The Program Officer will be responsible for managing the implementation of the HTS program and supporting the lay counsellors in the field including reporting.

The HPPSA is looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following qualities:

Qualifications/ Requirements

Grade 10 completed OR senior Certificate (Grade 12) OR equivalent

Finger prick certificate

HIV/AIDS Counselling certificate: a minimum 10-day course that is not older than 2 years from the date of issue.

Fluent in English

Smart observation skills.

Ability to follow set rules and protocols.

Time management and organizational skills.

2 years’ experience in community mobilizing

Strong administration and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure.

2 years’ experience in a supervision position
