| Job Description – Messenger Driver – FINA10208 (20000063)Job Description Messenger Driver – FINA10208 – (20000063) Description Position: Driver Messenger Department: Finance Division: Supply Chain Management Salary: R159 180 – R218 376 per annum (plus benefits) Core Responsibilities: Deliver and/or collect records, mail or goods to ensure goods and documents as delivered efficiently and effectively in line with related policies and procedures Collect and drop off staff as per supervisor instructions for attending meetings, training and workshops Wash and maintain Council’s vehicles Record mileage into the vehicle log book Daily vehicle inspection report (Health and Safety) to be handed to supervisor Apply governance and risk management to ensure Council vehicles are not misused Apply financial processes to prevent misuse of Council funds (fuel and maintenance) Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Grade 10A valid Code B driver’s license A valid PrDP 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar environment Enquiries: Tel: 0860 54 3000; E-mail: call.centre@ekurhuleni.gov.za Candidates may be requested to submit proof of the NQF level applicable to the qualifications they have obtained.
