About the Internship:
The CoJ is offering an 18-month internship opportunity within the Group Finance Department, specifically under the Finance, Compliance & Data Branch. This initiative aims to provide workplace experience for recent graduates and strengthen the City’s data and systems development capabilities.
Position Details:
- Position Title: Developer & Data Analyst Intern
- Duration: Up to 18 months
- Stipend: R10 109.86 per month (no benefits)

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / NQF level 4
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in:
- Information Technology,
- Mathematics,
- Statistics,
- Chemistry or related fields
- No prior experience required
- Proven skills in:
- SQL (MySQL or MS SQL),
- Python and C#
- Advantageous: Power BI, Tableau
