Position: Library Assistant (e-Innovation) (Fixed Term Contract ending 30 June 2024)

Salary: R354 142 per annum (All-inclusive annual remuneration package)
Core Responsibilities:
· Provide innovation and technical support to LIS staff and library patrons
· Render and provide support on virtual platforms for LIS programmes in conjunction with specialist programmes and educational development.
· Re-skilling of LIS staff and library patrons
· Provide and project manage community skills development programmes in conjunction with specialist E-Innovation
· Assist the community with basic computer knowledge.
· Provide 4IR support services
· Manage and operate the live stream studio, knowledge centres, film studio and other future ICT related spaces
Additional
· Saturday Work
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
· Grade 12
· 1 – 2 years relevant experience
· ICT knowledge / qualification will be an added advantage
