Position Overview
Netcare is seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to management and departmental teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day administrative functions, financial administration tasks, document management, and query resolution while contributing to the efficient operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Manager and department.
- Print, distribute, and manage departmental documentation.
- Send and receive documents via email, fax, or other communication channels as required.
- Handle and resolve administrative queries promptly and professionally.
Credit Control and Financial Administration
- Support credit control processes and account management activities.
- Prepare and maintain weekly nursing-hours spreadsheets.
- Distribute monthly nursing-hours reports to Matrons.
- Perform weekly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure accounts are approved by the relevant Matrons before submitting them for payment processing.
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
Professional Development
- Take responsibility for personal and professional growth.
- Stay informed about Netcare policies, procedures, and operational updates.
- Participate in learning and development opportunities when required.
Minimum Requirements
Education
Essential
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
Experience
Essential
- Two to three years of experience in an administrative support role.
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and administrative tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
