Knowledge

·       Fleet managed maintenance experience

·       Computer literate on the following software: MS office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

·       Knowledge of transport Legislation and the OHS ACT

·       Knowledge of construction/mobile equipment [Hydraulics, load bodies, tyres, air compressors,

·       pneumatic]

·       Auto electrical experience

·       Good command of English and at least one other official language

·       Vehicle recovery

Key Responsibilities

·       Inspects vehicles technical conditions.

·       Vendor management.

·       Ensure that vehicles and accessories and ancillaries are according to Eskom’s specifications.

·       Provide fleet technical advice.

·       Evaluate vehicles identified for disposal.

·       Assessment of accident damaged vehicles.

Minimum requirements

Minimum Requirements: 

Qualification(s):

• Senior Artisan (dry trade) Trade Certificate/Engineering Assistant Related practical P1 P2/N5 qualified Mechanic light commercial or heavy vehicle at NQF4 with 120 credits

Related Minimum Experience: 

• 2 Years Related practical P1 P2, post trade, fleet maintenance, technical experience
