Job Advert Summary
Responsible for preparing and homogenising samples to support both the Cement & Concrete and Chemistry departments. The Lab Assistant ensures that all samples are properly collected, labelled, processed, and delivered for further analysis. By maintaining accuracy, consistency, and adherence to safety procedures, this role provides essential support to the plants.
Minimum Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Matric
Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge and application of warehousing and distribution best practice
Performing housekeeping in line with 5S principles
Time management in planning for tasks – good output for a given time
Attendance and time keeping
Record keeping and filing
Versatility of competencies – Chemistry and C&C work
Understanding of LIMS
Facilitaction of INVOCOMS
