Opportunities have become available for Trainee Process Artisans at Vitro (Various departments)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- N6 Technical Certificate or NCV Level 5 (Electrical\Mechanical\Instrumentation)
- Knowledgeable in Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation basics
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of production process is essential.
- Very good technical abilities with a strong work ethic
- Ability to identify problems and/or challenges – very methodical in finding solutions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Adhering to Factory Housekeeping standards
- Health and safety
- Assist with shutdown and maintenance.
- Leadership skills
- Practical or experiential training will be an added advantage.
KEY OUTPUTS/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Hands-on approach and pride in work performance
- Team player
- Eliminate or reduce downtime.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and exercise own initiative whilst supporting team members & Tilewrights
- Ability to lead, support as well as coach a team to archive set production targets.
- Understanding of extrusion process will be an added advantage.
