Purpose:
The incumbent will be directly responsible for supervision of AP Staff and ensure monthly payment proposal packs are centralised and done at a supervisory level.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor of Commerce Degree (B Com Accounting Degree will be advantageous).
Minimum of five years in Accounts Payable supervisory level.
Advanced working knowledge of the FI/CO/AP module in SAP or related ERP system.
Mining industry exposure advantageous.
Proven working knowledge of the Procure to Pay Process.
Experience in AP automated process and or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be advantageous.
Experience in invoice automation process advantageous.

Key responsibilities will include:
Performing the creditor’s sub-ledger reconciliations.
Maintaining, controlling remittance and proof of payments.
Help with the GRIR monitoring and maintenance.
Facilitate invoice review files Lift 1, Lift 11 & Projects.
Monitoring creditors reconciliations.
Preparing internal GL reconciliations.
Prepare and maintain all Accounts Payable work instructions.
Approval of credit and debit note adjustments as per DOA.
Assessing monthly invoice review files.
Supervision of the Accounts Payable staff, performance review and assessment.
Optimisation of vendor definitions for Readsoft Process Director.
Level 2 review for vendor reconciliations.
Daily resolution of errors on Chronoscan.
Investigate and clear invalid liabilities on GRIR.
Investigate and clear aged invalid liabilities on vendor accounts (FBL1N).
Clear out aged and invalid line items on Readsoft Process Director.
Preparing analysis and tracking reports of accomplished optimisation and efficiency gains.
Coordinating entry level accounts administrators and offer guidance on complex accounts payable matters.
Carry out any other accounts and administrative activities as and when required.
