UNEMPLOYED YOUTH FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL YOUTH EMPLOYMENT INITIATIVE
WHO QUALIFIES TO APPLY?
• Applicants aged between 18 & 34 years
• New applicants only
• No previous participants can apply
• Live no more than 5km’s away from the school/ 30km’s for farm or rural schools
• Education Assistants – need at least a Matric
• General School Assistants – do not need a Matric
WHO DOESN’T QUALIFY TO APPLY?
Anyone that participated in:
-Phase I, II or III of PYEI-BEEI programme
Anyone that is:
-Working, training or on a learnership
– studying full or part-time, online, distance or on a short course
-Receiving government grants for self (e.g., NSFAS, Funza Lushaka, SASSA grants such as SRD 350)
Applications are open until the 16th October so you will have 3 weeks to apply, all applicants who apply before closing date will be considered.
