Position Purpose:
To safely transport cargo from one point to another using a hoist and trailer to ensure a continuous flow in operations
Position outputs:

• Obtain document for shift work
• Obtain checklist from ABM
• Perform Daily task and record discrepancies
• Obtain shift norm from CC
• Report all incidents/accidents
• Continuously check vehicle for defects
• Check tonnage of cargo
• Sign on to the operating system(Navis)
• Follow on screen directives using RDT which generates the moves of cargo

  Qualifications & Experience:
  QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Matric or NQF 04 equivalent with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
  or Grade 10/ NQF 02 with a minimum of 3- 5 years driving experience
• Must have a code EC drivers’ licence
• Must have a valid PDP(at the time of advert)
• 6 Weeks Transnet Internal Drivers’ course will be an added advantage
