It is anticipated that in April of this year, the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant, also referred to as the R350 grant, will increase to R370.
Enoch Godongwana, the minister of finance, made this announcement on Wednesday in the National Assembly.
“In his State of the Nation Address, His Excellency the President announced that the R350 will be enhanced and that the [SRD grant] will remain in place.
