Job Advert SummaryTo perform frontline operational tasks related to the capturing, scanning, administration, management and maintenance of Rand Water records
Minimum Requirements• Grade 12/ Matric • 3 Years’ experience in Records Management /Registry Environment • Records Management Certificate with National Archives and Records Service of South Africa/ accredited institution
Primary Duties• Implementing records/ document management policies and procedures • Managing mail • Maintaining Records control systems • Storing and automating documentation • Maintaining information services centre of excellence • Managing the dissemination of information within Rand Water • Maintaining office equipment within the Section • Controlling the movement of files • Dissemination of information within Rand Water • Providing a customer oriented service
Knowledge• Records management procedures • Basic understanding of the National Archives and Records Service Act • Basic understanding of labour legislation, • Understanding of Electronic Documentation Management Systems, • Sound Registry/Document Management • Sound understanding of capture/file/store/retrieve documents according to File Plan. • Promotion of Access to Information Act of 2000 • ISO: 9001 • Electronic Documentation Management Systems
