Job Advert SummaryRand Water is looking for a candidate that will be responsible for operating Rand Water’s fleet of plant equipment.
Minimum Requirements• Grade 12 or equivalent • 1 year relevant experience in a similar environment • Code EC (code 14) driver’s license with the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 driving test • Knowledge of the NOSA system and safe working procedures • Must be in possession of a PrDP • Previous mechanical experience and operation earthmoving and construction equipment experience would be an added advantage
Primary Duties• Responsible for and operating the earthmoving and construction equipment throughout Rand Water’s distribution • Operating mobile and crawler cranes • Driving of heavy commercial vehicles through Rand Water’s distribution
Knowledge• Safety knowledge of mechanical equipment • Knowledge of cranes and construction equipment
Skills• Communication skills (verbal, written) • Sound driving and operation skills
Attitude• Ability to work unsupervised • Performance driven • Team work • Customer Service orientation
