Job Description: To plan, schedule and control incoming work to meet target dates, and allocate, supervise and accept work completed by subordinates for the fabrication, repair, maintenance and installation of piping including the maintenance, repair and overhauling of heat exchangers on the SA Navy vessels and to provide supervision in the Pipe Fitting and Boiler Making Workshop.

Duties Responsibilities:

Qualifications: • National Technical Diploma/ National Diploma in mechanical engineering • Trade Certificate Pipe Fitting or Boiler making (Red seal) or Pipe Fitter Category 5 would be an added advantage

Experience: • Minimum 5 years post qualification technical experience in the pipe fitting or Boilermaking field. • 2 Years Supervisory experience • Added advantages: o Experience in Marine and military industrial environment. o Experience in the manufacturing and boat building field.
