Job Purpose
Afrisun Gauteng trading as Carnival City is committed to contributing to South Africa��s national skills development agenda by focusing on both internal and external talent development initiatives. Our commitment to skills development of both employed and unemployed is demonstrated both through the Carnival City Bursary Scheme and the provision of work readiness programmes, like learnerships and internships.
The learnership provides unemployed people with a qualification in Food and Beverage. This then increases their chances for job opportunities. The programme is accredited and the learner will exit with an NQF Level 4 qualification.
Education
•Grade 12 / equivalent with English Level 3
Skills and Knowledge
•Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
•Self-motivated
•Well presented
•High levels of initiative and drive
Requirement
•Valid South African ID.
•Must be willing to work shifts, Weekends and Public Holidays
•Ability to stand for long hours
Key Performance Areas:
The candidates will be expected to work in the Food & Beverage (F&B) area in accordance with specified procedures whilst creating an environment which will enhance excellent guest service.
