Our client in the NGO sector is seeking Data Capturers (CONTRACT) in the Umgungundlovu District

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
Trained on Tier.Net software and/or previous experience with Tier.Net data capturing
Experience in DHIS
Experience in data collection and capturing
1 – 2 years experience
Experience with data capturing or collection within the public health sector will be advantageous
Familiarity with the public health sector and District Health System will be advantageous
Valid driver’s license advantageous
A detailed CV with full job duties must be submitted

Job Description:

Accurate capture and entry of all relevant data from each facility into the database provided
Ensure a high standard of data quality through accurate and timely data validation and quality assurance
Apply a data quality audit toolkit, ensuring accurate Tier.Net data entry
Ensure that all ethical requirements are fulfilled
Export and e-mail data on a daily basis
Conduct daily back-ups of data
Print facility reports
Interact with colleagues and project management to ensure fulfilment of project objectives
Interact with staff to capture relevant subject-related information
Photocopy and scan relevant study data
Filing and administrative duties as required
Provide on-site mentoring to facility staff where gaps are identified
