| Purpose of the Job | The confirmations controller is responsible to coordinate the booking function of suppliers’ trucks into the distribution centre to ensure that sufficient time to offload merchandise. The incumbent is also responsible for managing missed bookings and attend to various requests pertaining booking arrangements |

| Job Objectives | – Receive bookings for suppliers’ deliveries via telephone as well as electronically – Ensure suppliers are booked at the receiving department of the distribution centre and that enough time is allocated for offloading. – Make alternate booking arrangements if a supplier cannot hold their booking appointment |

| Experience | Experience within a warehouse or distribution centre would be advantageous. |
| Knowledge and Skills | – Knowledge of retail environment and distribution centres – Attention to detail |
