City of Johannesburg (CoJ) Student Internship Programme 2025
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), through its Group Corporate and Shared Services Department,
invites unemployed graduates from Johannesburg communities to apply for the Student Internship
Programme 2025 / 2026.
Closing Date: Tuesday, 16 September 2025
Location: Metro Centre, 158 Civic Boulevard, Braamfontein, Johannesburg
About the CoJ Student Internship Programme
The internship is an intervention to provide on-the-job training for students as a pre-requisite to
complete their academic qualification or as experiential training after qualification.
Duration: Not exceeding 18 months
Stipend: R10,109.86 per month (Basic Salary, no benefits)
Eligibility: Only unemployed graduates residing in the City of Johannesburg will be
considered

Must be unemployed and never participated in an internship before.
Must be a resident of Johannesburg.
Primary Function
To provide effective and comprehensive administrative support and logistical services to the
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) unit, ensuring the efficiency of the business unit.
Key Learning Areas
Coordinate administrative requirements of the Employee Assistance Programme.
Promote efficiency of the EAP.
Collate and prepare qualitative and quantitative information for reports.
