Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Certificate in Fire Technology
- Code C1 Driver’s license with PrDP
OR
- Grade 12
- Fire Fighter I and II
- Hazmat Awareness and Operations
- Code C1 with PrDP
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Preparedness and response to fire, rescue, hazmat, emergency calls /incidents and humanitarian duties in terms legislations, policies and procedures.
- Maintain operational readiness
- Perform all specialised procedures in dealing with emergency and other incidents
- Adhere to Governance and Risk Management in terms of legislations, policies and procedures
- Adhere to Governance and Financial Processes in terms of legislations, policies and procedure
- Care for other person’s life and/or assets without favour and/or prejudice
- Continuous assessment of own performance, professional interaction and ethical dealing with stakeholders/ clients and co-workers
