Administrator (Springs Market) – IND00242 – (220000CZ)
Description
Position: Administrator: EPWP (Fixed term contract ending June 2023)
Department: Economic Development
Division: Ekurhuleni Fresh Produce Market
Salary: R8 712 per month
Core Responsibilities:
Control purchases and buyers (quantity, grade and size)
Ensure that all consignment is written in consignment books and lock into computer
Check cold room temperatures and compressors
Take stock and check produce on hand according to stock sheets
Offload and pile produce by hand or forklift as per Market Agent
Sweep and clean all spills during offloading and stacking
Check sold produce according to sales dockets and produce quality
Ensure that no theft and injuries occur
Lock market doors on weekends for safe keeping of market property and produce
Operate and maintain the CCTV system
Monitor both live and recorded feeds
Compile incident reports and system update reports
File incident reports
Monitor weekly schedules of workers on site
Collect and capture data
Assist Managers responsible for management of facilities
Record all work done for referrals and follow up
NB: The posts as advertised above are Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) work opportunities that will be available for a certain contracted period only.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Resident of the City of Ekurhuleni
South African Citizen with valid ID document
Resident not more than 5 km from the Springs Market
