Job PurposeThe Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for 3 (three) competent individuals to provide administrative support to the Directorate: Contract Management. These posts is stationed in Cape Town, CBD.
Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).
RecommendationRelevant administrative experience; A valid driving licence (Code B or higher).NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.
Key Performance AreasRender general administrative support service; Assist with the following: Obtaining and verifying data on operator system; Public transport monitoring; Verification of timetable change; Verification of scheduled trips; Ensuring system compliance and system health checks; The administration of operator payments.
CompetenciesA good understanding of the following: Clerical duties and practices; Legislative framework governing the Public Service; Working procedures in terms of the working environment; Skills needed: Meet deadlines; Record keeping; Written and verbal communication; Ability to: Work under pressure; Work independently and in a team; Capture data, computer literacy (MS Word and Excel).
RemunerationR 176 310 per annum (Salary Level 5)
