merSETA 24-Month Internship Programme
We invite suitably qualified graduates to apply for our 24-Month Internship Programme in merSETA across its various departments at Head Office and Regional Offices nationwide. This programme offers valuable workplace experience and professional development over a fixed period.
The Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA) is a Schedule 3A public entity established in terms of the Skills Development Act (Act No. 97 of 1998), Registration Number 17/merSETA/01/04/20, to facilitate skills development for the Metal and Engineering, Motor Retail and Components Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, Plastics Manufacturing and New Tyre Manufacturing Sectors.
STIPEND
R10,000 per month
3-Year National Diploma NQF Level 6
R11,000 per month
Bachelor’s / BTech Degree NQF Level 7
R12,000 per month
Honours / Postgraduate NQF Level 8+
WHO CAN APPLY
- South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 years with no work experience.
- Must not have previously participated, or currently be participating, in an internship programme.
