Description
Workplace Integrated Learning (WIL) is a structured educational approach that combines theoretical learning with practical, hands-on experience in a workplace setting. It bridges the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice by allowing students to apply classroom concepts to real-world situations, typically through supervised placements. The primary goal of WIL is to enhance students’ employability by developing relevant skills and preparing them for the workplace before graduation.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Unemployed South African citizens aged between 18 to 35, who are students from TVET Colleges and have completed their N6 qualification, are invited to apply. Applicants must provide a letter from their institution confirming that they have completed the theoretical component of their studies and require practical experience to graduate in one of the following fields of study:
N6 Electrical Engineering
- Electrician
- Instrumentation
N6 Mechanical Engineering
- Fitting and Turning
- Platter / Boilermaker
- Welder
N6 Civil Engineering
- Plumber
- Carpenter
N6 Automotive Engineering
- Motor Mechanic
- Auto Electrician
- Diesel Mechanic
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: You must demonstrate good interpersonal skills, professionalism, integrity, ability to work under pressure and have the ability to meet set course deadlines. Successful candidates must also be ambitious and willing to learn, be analytical in their thinking and be diligent.
