The ETDP SETA needs to employ a suitably qualified graduate for the internship program with the essential attributes, skills and necessary qualifications.
Special Projects Intern
Salary: R 6 500 per month (Total-Cost-To-Company)
Job Purpose: Provide administrative activities such as stakeholder management, budget management, and report writing. The successful incumbent will be based in the ETDP SETA Head Office in Johannesburg and report to the Project Management Specialist.
The successful candidate must have the following minimum responsibilities:
Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to NQF level 7) in Education Training and Development or Social Sciences.
Skills or knowledge of organizing meetings (venue, flight, accommodation bookings).
Report-writing.
Knowledge of stakeholder relations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic knowledge of project management.
Good interpersonal skills
Good conceptualisation skills and attention to detail.
Flexible and adaptive with a positive approach to taking on several duties.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide project administration support to the project team.
Maintain and update budgets as project progresses.
Collect and maintain project-related documentation as activities take place, including participant files and
forms, attendance records and other records relating to the project.
Provide input data relating to participants into management information system, using
spreadsheets/databases, ensuring that information is kept secure, confidential, and up to date.
Establish a working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
Minute writing for all meetings of the Special Projects Unit.
Perform any other administrative duties assigned by the Line Manager.
