Ability to maintain accurate record keeping and reporting to the supervisor. Ability to communicate effectively in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literate (MS Office package, e-mail and internet). |
| Experience: |
| Appropriate experience in financial management relating to asset and liability accounts. Appropriate experience with the BAS & LOGIS systems. |
| Duties (Key Result Areas/Outputs): |
| Effective rendering of supervisory functions. Manage the processing of all asset and liability related transactions. Authorisation of all journals. Ensure all debt, damages and losses transactions are completed correctly, timeously, and according to regulations. Asset and liability related Reporting. Ensure correspondence, filing, safekeeping of documents & handling of queries are performed effectively. |

| Minimum Educational Qualification: |
| Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post. |
| Inherent Requirement Of The Job: |
| Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license. |
| Remuneration: |
| R 261 372- R 307 890 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer’s contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance). |
