POSITION:
ISASA Receptionist
The Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) is seeking a Receptionist for its Johannesburg office.


ISASA is a non-profit organisation, which serves over 875 independent schools in Southern Africa. These schools represent a broad spectrum of socio-economic and cultural communities and educational levels, from pre-schools to high schools.


The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for all receptionist duties at the Johannesburg head office, and will give administrative and communication support to ISASA.


The job involves meeting all visitors to the ISASA office and dealing with their needs as appropriate, administering all switchboard operations, and performing certain administrative tasks as and when required.


Applicants must hold a suitable tertiary qualification and have receptionist, administrative and some secretarial experience.


Competency requirements include:
Experience in operating a PABX system and superior phone skills.
Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills with a basic knowledge of and experience in website and database management.
Ability to operate photocopying machines.
Good English communication skills (oral and written), knowledge of other South African official languages will be an advantage.
Intermediate numeracy skills.
Good telephone voice, manner and etiquette.
Ability to multitask.
Attention to detail.
