Job Advert Summary
Randwater is looking for a candidate who will be able to conduct the flow, pressure data logging, in-situ testing, and installation of upgrading of meters, on 1680 Randwater consumers and non consumer meters, and to assist with with project work for internal and external parties
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or N3
Driver’s license
2 years experience in a similar environment.
Desired : Conduct meter in-situ verification test, Electronic meter verification tests and installation of data loggers(Flow and Pressure)
Primary Duties
Conduct planned maintenance on all flow meters
To install and remove Ultrasonic clamp on equipment on site( In- situ verification)
To install and remove data logging equioment
Conduct meter verification at various sites across the Rand water area of supply
Administratve work
Report all plant defects that relate to health and safety
Knowledge
Basic knowledge of instrumentation and metering
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
Conduct Calibration Test
Knowledge of using Dead WeightTest
Skills
Good verbal, written and communication skills
Negotiating, problem solving, analytical and diagnostic skills
