Key Responsibilities

As an ICT intern, you will:

Provide first-level internal IT support for AgriSETA end-users.
Handle verbal, email, and phone queries, ensuring they are logged in the Helpdesk system.
Solve hardware/software problems and provide ongoing support for staff.
Install and upgrade standard hardware, software, and systems.
Assist with cybersecurity awareness campaigns and remediate ICT vulnerabilities.
Participate in the implementation, monitoring, and upgrading of antivirus and malware protection systems.
Maintain and update the computer/inventory tracking system.
Support ICT risks, projects, and Governance/Operations Management.

Qualifications and Experience

National Diploma/NQF Level 6 in Information Technology.
Certifications in A+, N+, and MCSE/Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
No prior work experience required.
ITIL and COBIT foundation certifications will be an advantage.
