The ARC-Grain Crops (ARC-GC) seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic person to the following position at Potchefstroom.

Job Description
  • Maintenance of assets and infrastructure.
  • Deliver planned & reactive maintenance service covering full hard FM spectrum on Plumbing installations, systems & minor building works.
  • Conduct maintenance on plumbing equipment as per schedule, preventative or emergency fault rectification.
  • Maintenance and use of tools and equipment.
  • Implement equipment service specifications in accordance with Client & Company requirements.
  • Assist manager with stock levels.
  • Assist manager with up to date register for tools.
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations and correct quality standards.
  • Perform inspection of facility, plumbing equipment on site, identify areas of risk & report back for rectification.
  • Repair and servicing of equipment and irrigation system.
  • Installing and serving of new equipment and system.
Job Requirements
  • Grade 12 / N4 or N5-N6 plus Plumbing Trade Test certificate.
  • Grade 12 / N4 must have +5 years of experience post trade certificate in a wide range of artisan work (Plumbing equipment maintenance or Building Maintenance or general farm work).
  • N5-N6 must have 3- 5 years of experience post trade certificate in a wide range of artisan work (Plumbing equipment maintenance, Building Maintenance and general farm work).
  • Valid SA Driver’s License.
  • Computer literacy (Intermediate skill level).
  • Knowledge of OHS Act & ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
