Requirements
The requirements for this position are:
- To facilitate small group learning under the direction of the class teacher.
- To assist the class teacher with classroom duties within the Junior Prep.
- A teaching qualification will be advantageous.
- A passion for the care and supervision of young children.
- Excellent people and organisational skills.
- Ability to take initiative and to act decisively.
- Good administration and computer skills.
- An unequivocal commitment to working as part of an accomplished team.
- A willingness to ensure that diversity and inclusion is fundamental to all actions.
- A willingness to work within the values, Methodist Christian ethos and mission of the College as well as participation in the broader life of the school.
- Proof of registration with SACE supported by a sexual offender’s clearance certificate.

AFTERCARE ASSISTANT (JHB NORTH)

Requirements
The requirements for this position are:
- To assist with Aftercare duties within the Junior Prep between 12H00 – 17H30.
- A teaching background will be preferable.
- An unequivocal commitment to working as part of an accomplished team.
- Ability to take initiative and to act decisively.
- Must be motivated and passionate about working with young children.
- Care and supervision of all students at the Aftercare facility.
- Assist with the extra-mural program of Aftercare students.
- Supervision of lunches.
- Good organisational skills.
- Excellent people skills.
- Good administration and computer skills.
