INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN DPWI YOUTH RECRUITMENT DRIVE
PROGRAMME 1: ACCELERATED PROFESSIONAL AND TRADE COMPETENCY
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (APTCoD)
TARGET GROUP: 18 – 45 years
STIPEND: R 3300.00 per month
DURATION: 4 years

  The Department of Public Works and Infrastructure is inviting unemployed people to register on a database for different departmental programmes. The objectives of these programmes is to provide training to young people in different skills in order to acquire the experience needed to be employable. The opportunity is targeting people of the Eastern Cape, youth, women and people with disabilities. 1. Minimum qualification: N2 or NCV level 2 of Plumbing, Bricklaying
   and Carpentry Trades.
2. Minimum qualification: N3 or NCV level 3 – Electrical and
   Mechanical Trades
3. Minimum grade for Welding: Grade 10 or Standard 8
4. Minimum grade for Painting: Grade 12 or Standard 10

PROGRAMME 2: NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE
STIPEND: R 2 800.00 per month
DURATION: 18 months
TARGET GROUP: 18 – 35 years
