EXTERNAL ADVERT: Gauteng Internship Programme
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is inviting unemployed graduates,
throughout South Africa, to apply for our Internship Programme.
The following position is available in Gauteng:
Branch: Grant Administration (4 post) Qualification: Degree/B-Tech/ National Diploma (NQF Level
6 or 7) in Public/Business Administration/Social Sciences: (Ref No: SASIn-01).
Regional Executive Manager’s office (1 post) Qualification: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma:
Public Management/Office Management/Business Administration (NQF Level 6 or 7) (Ref No: SASIn02).
Human Capital Management (1 post) (Qualification: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma: Human
Resource Management/ Human Resource Development/Labour Relations NQF Level 6 or 7(Ref No:
SASIn-03).
Supply Chain Management) (2 Posts) (Qualification: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma in Financial
Accounting/Supply Chain management (NQF Level 6 or 7) (Ref No: SASIn-04).
Facilities Management (1 post) (Qualification: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma in Transport/Fleet
Management and Facilities Management (NQF Level 6 or 7) (Ref No: SASIn-05).
Communications and Marketing (1 post) (Qualification: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma in Public
Relations/Communications/Journalism (NQF Level 6 or 7) (Ref No: SASIn-06).
Information Communication and Technology (1 post) ((Qualification: Degree/B-Tech/National
Diploma in Information Technology (NQF Level 6 or 7) (Ref No: SASIn-07).

All Applications must be: Between the ages of 18 – 35 Years and be South African citizen.
Students who need Experiential Training. Studied at the recognized institution or higher
learning in the Republic of South Africa.
The Successful candidates will be appointed on a 24 Month internship contract. An allinclusive monthly stipend of R7043.31.00.
Important notes: Appointments will be subjected to compulsory pre-employment screening in the
form of qualification, reference, ITC, criminal checks. It is our intention to promote representivity in

will promote representivity will receive preference. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign
qualifications evaluated by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) prior to the selection process.
