Programme and Vacancy overview:
AQUITY Innovations NPC has been appointed by the National Department of Health to serve as one of the GLOBAL FUND TB Sub-Recipients (SRs) in South Africa. The project activities will be implemented in Mpumalanga (Ehlanzeni district) and Eastern Cape provinces (Buffalo City Metro, Amathole and OR Tambo district) whilst the head office positions will be based in Pretoria.
As such we seek to employ the following:
Assert Clerk – to be based in Eastern Cape – OR Tambo
Remuneration – R19 831,09
Contract end date – 31 March 2025
Responsibilities
Provide support to the Eastern Cape offices with regards to the asset management function
Facilitate the movement of assets
Manage and update the assets register with acquisitions, movements, losses, and disposals
Make sure that all assets are bar-coded and arrange for new bar codes if a bar code has fallen or lost
Conduct daily asset verifications across facilities, investigate and report on missing and damaged assets.
Conduct physical assets verification and ensure that assets condition in the register matches the condition of its existence.
Identify assets for disposal and facilitate the transfer thereof.
Assist with reconciliation of the asset register and the assets in the storerooms.
Follow up on lost and stolen assets and submit all documents at Head office.
Compile daily, weekly, and monthly assets counted and verified.
Other ad hoc requirements from time to time
Qualification
Post Grade 12 diploma/certificate (NQF Level 4)
A valid driver’s license is a must. (A PrDp is an added advantage)
Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in Asset Management
