Community Schemes Ombud Service: Customer Service Agent (x4)
The Community Schemes Ombud Service Act (Act 9 of 2011) was promulgated on 11 June
2011 and provides for the establishment of the Community Schemes Ombud Service
(“CSOS”) as a public entity. The CSOS has been classified as a Schedule 3A Public Entity in
terms of the Public Finance Management Act (Act No.1 of 1999) (PFMA).

- This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor and offers a total cost to company
package of R387 110.00 per annum.
Requirements - Matric + Call Centre Certificate or Equivalent
- 1 year of working experience in Contact Centre or Administration support role.
- 2 Year Diploma in Call Centre will be an added advantage.
- Legal Qualification will be an added advantage.
- Advance knowledge of customer service
- Knowledge of good governance.
- General knowledge of the broader political, economic, and social environment.
- Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Key Performance Areas - Provide customer service and support the optimization of the section.
- Record all telephone calls/walk-ins from members of the public and community schemes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customer.
