are therefore in possession of a certificate are welcome to submit such,
however it is not required that an applicant submit such when applying for the

Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and
undergo a security clearance. Foreigners or dual citizenship holders must
provide a police clearance certificate from country of origin. The Department of

REQUIREMENTS :
A Senior/Grade 12 certificate. One (1) year experience in Asset Management
will serve as an added advantage. Computer literacy. Knowledge of Financial
Management, Logistics, PFMA, Treasury Regulations and Professional
Procurement Policy Framework. Knowledge and understanding of government
Supply Chain Management framework. Knowledge of Enterprise Resource
Planning System, LOGIS and BAS. Understanding of MS Office suite
preferably Excel. Knowledge and understanding of dispute resolution process.
Understanding of labour relations policies. Knowledge of Generally
Recognized Accounting Practice (GRAP). Knowledge management. Problem
solving and analysis. People and diversity management. Good communication
skills both (verbal and written).
DUTIES :
Updating of the asset register (historic register and new additions). Updating
movement of assets, updating disposal database and loss register on monthly
basis. Receiving and Bar-coding of assets. Perform quarterly asset count.
Updating inventory lists and pasting. Conduct Bi-annual physical verification of
movable assets and finance lease assets. Quality assurance of asset
management processes.
