400 X EPWP GENERAL WORKERS
City of Mbombela intends to appoint those interested to work as EPWP General Workers in all four Regions of City of Mbombela for a period of 12 months.
REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: Qualifying candidates must be between 16 years minimum age and 50 years maximum age and must be South African Citizens residing in the City of Mbombela areas of jurisdiction. Candidates must be unemployed, unskilled/ semiskilled and coming from poor families within jurisdictions of the City of Mbombela. The city will reserve rights to allocate you in any project. The preferred candidates would be working in different projects where they will assist the departments to improve service delivery in the following
Projects as tabled below:
Description of Projects
Pollution Control & Management
Waste collection and litter picking, City Beautification, Clearing of open Spaces
Maintenance of Roads & Storm water drains
Management of potholes, Cleaning of Road Reserves, cleaning of the Stormwater drains,
Maintenance of Water & Sewage Plants
Maintenance of the Water and Sewer pants, Cleaning of premises.
Maintenance of Municipal Amenities
Cleaning of Municipal Halls and other related properties,
Traffic Technical Services
Roads marking services
Assisting in office administration and other general work
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for Service Delivery Maintenance programme in Waste collection and litter picking, City Beautification, clearing of open spaces, clearing of Road & storm water drains, Cleaning of Municipal Amenities, Cleaning of Water & Sewer Plants.
REMUNERATION: R100-00 PER PERSON PER DAY

2. POST 18/60 : DEPUTY DIRECTOR: QUALITY ASSURANCE REF NO: 19/47/FS
SALARY : R733 257- R821 052 per annum (All inclusive remuneration package). The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.
CENTRE : Regional Office Bloemfontein
REQUIREMENTS : Three year Bachelor`s degree /National Diploma in Public Administration or equivalent (NQF level 6); Three (3) years management experience; Three (3) years’ experience in office and district administration; A valid driver’s license; knowledge of Public Service Regulations, and PFMA, Knowledge of Departmental Finance Instructions, prescripts and delegations. Skills and competencies: Computer literacy MS Office Excel, Presentations, Excellent communication skills written and verbal; strong leadership skills; Strategic capabilities.
DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Exercise quality assurance service over administrative duties related to all resources i.e Finance, Human Resources, Procurement and Court operations; Co-ordinate strategic and business planning processes as well as the facilities, physical resources, information and communication related to courts; Manage assessment of physical resources; compile annual performance and statutory reports to the relevant users; Develop and implement customer service improvement strategies; manage misconduct and maladministration investigations; Provide effective people management.
