Purpose of the JobTo perform a variety of clerical duties in support of maintenance operations, including control of work and materials applied in the operation.
Key ResponsibilitiesTo perform workshop administration support activities. * Administer job cards and manage departmental documents/ records. * Performs general office administrative support.
Minimum Qualification, Knowlege & SkillsMatric + Office Administration/Secretarial Diploma (NQF Level 06) * Minimum of 1 year experience in a technical/engineering workshop environment. We are looking for an individual has strong task structuring and coordination abilities with ability to identify and recognizes small components of work and manage them in a manner that enables accomplishment of output that is error free and of high quality standard. * Individual who has effective document and record keeping skills based on QMS standards. * Has good typing and telephone skills. *Functional written and verbal business communication skills. * Has proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Word and MS Outlook. * Is customer/client focus with the ability to identify customer needs by analysis of indicators from both customer environment. * To actively and appropriately respond to changes and challenges in the environment and maintain effectiveness. * Takes initiative and has ability to foresee problems and deal with them proactively. * Has good understanding of SCM processes, SAP Procurement Systems, and understanding of budget /expenditure reports. * A team worker with analytical thinking skills. * Must be task Oriented, self-directed and result driven. * Has a valid Code EB / 08 Driver’s License.
