A reputable company is urgently seeking a Supply Chain Officer in the Richards Bay
area. The suitable candidate must meet the following criteria:

Skills & Qualifications & Experience

·
Complete Degree/Diploma in supply chain
management

·
+4 years working experience in supply chain
management / procurement

·
planning and organisational skills

·
spoken and written communication skills

·
problem-solving and be able to work in a
pressurised environment

·
good geographical knowledge of the Kwazulu Natal
Region

·
Buildsmart & Pastel Knowledge (will be
an added advantage)

·
Construction & Plant & logistics exp
(will be an added advantage)

·
Drivers licence

·

Key Competency Requirements:

·
To expedite requisitions received

·
To ensure that requisition
orders are acquired at the right time, with the best quality and at the right
price at all times

·
Source suppliers & items
required for purchase

·
To liaise with requester, ensure
drawings/ specifications are met.

·
To advise lead times /
negotiate with suppliers on time & price for orders placed.

·
Attend site meetings
