Brief Job Description
The successful incumbent will be required:
• Answering telephone calls; determining nature of business and directing callers to appropriate destination
• Welcoming visitors and ensuring their wellbeing
• Ensuring the reception area is always welcoming and clean
• Portraying a professional company image at all times
• Monitoring and operation of the Switchboard – incoming and outgoing calls
• Taking and delivering of telephone messages
• Accepting and signing for deliveries on behalf of the company and staff where applicable
• Sourcing, ordering, maintaining and distribution of all stationery
• Assisting any and all departments with filing etc when necessary
Abilities & Traits
• Super-friendly, warm, upbeat and welcoming personality
• Take initiative – ask to assist departments when the switchboard is quiet
• Be able to sit on their own all day and keep themselves busy as it is an isolated position
• Problem-Solving skills
• Be willing to go over and above the call of duty
• Newly Graduates are acceptable
• R9 000 – R11 000 Gross
• Provident Fund on a 50:50 Basis
